Today the building Cheesecake Boutique was in, caught on fire and pretty much burned to the ground. Right now we don’t know how much of the store is salvageable. From the outside it doesn’t look good the roof as well as the second floor have fallen through into the first floor and the ladder truck was spraying water straight down into the store which built up about a foot and 1/2 of water behind the doors before they opened them. One Fireman was hurt today he was burnt badly on his face and is in the hospital, please pray that he would be Ok.  The freezing temps today made it very difficult for the fire department to work they had to rotate over a hundred firefighters through to keep them from getting too cold.  We will not be allowed into the property until sometime tomorrow as the building is still smoldering and structurally unsound. I will update tomorrow with more info and pics . Here are some pics from today

Merry Christmas everyone

I hope everyone had a great Christmas we spent it with the family here in Ohio.
Here are a few photos of our day.

Whats new

Well we have a child that wants to move forward development wise very quickly.  Wyeth started crawling right before thanksgiving and a couple days later he decided to pull himself up on stuff and stand while hanging on now he has started “cruising” this is a toddler term i just learned, it means standing while holding onto things for balance and moving along them while switching hands. The Sqeazel is all about moving, every time he figures out one part he starts in on the next. Like my last post said this is going too fast for my sanity I am having to watch for new stuff every night when I get home from work and Jess is pretty much worn out trying to keep up with him.  Wyeth seems to be a rough and tumble kind of kid, he has taken quite a few falls and for the most part he just wants to get back up and do what ever he was doing no drama no crying just get on with it.  A couple of times he has really bonked hard and then he will cry but usually its over pretty soon – let me tell you it is very hard to play it cool when you are waiting to see what reaction he is going to have and not make a big fuss about it. I think Jess and my learning curve is actually faster than his.  One of the neatest things is that he has started to cuddle up to you and reach for you when he wants affection, up till recently he would smile and laugh and react to you but did not seem to be attached to us in a direct way now he sees Jess or me,  he smiles holds out his arms and wants you to pick him up when you do he will bearry his head on your chest and hug you, on the other hand he will want to be down and in order to get there he will violently push and kick away from you if you arent carefull he can just dive out of your arms. I have had quite a few heart attack moments from this…Well enough talking here is some new pics
