Asian festival Today

We went to the Asian Festival at Franklin park today. Very crowded several thousand people 85 degrees and packed in. Jess got sunburned but Wyeth got tan seems that he has the Native American gene for tanning, a Jewish-Scottish-Dutch-Native American heinz 57. We ate Chicken on a stick (they actually had a sign that read “Chicken-on-a- stick”  and another sign next to it for non english speakers/readers, with “Satay”) So we being non Asian had chicken on a stick while every one around us had Satay. Wednesday was Wyeth’s  Birthday but we had a party for him today here is a video of some of the highlights

Wyeth’s first time in a swing

Today we took Wyeth over to a nearby park,  they had special swings for small children and he got to swing for the first time. He loved it as you can see in the video and pics.

Chattanooga trip

The Carle Family visited with the younger Johnston  family (it was Chris’s B-Day) in Chattanooga over the weekend. the Weather was great and we had fun. The Kids had a blast, Wyeth loves his cousin and all the animals. Ian was not so sure about Wyeth invading his space and playing with his toys.  We have some funny video and pics.

I thought these were really nice with the sun coming through the front door.

Sleepy

Wyeth loves to fall asleep on top of me. The problem is that he no longer wants to sleep otherwise. Here are some pics of him asleep on top of me

Guest room

So I love design and décor and this past week I got to help my mom out with her guest room. I think it looks fantastic. Just a few small touches left to finish.
